MoNDaY

Weekend was so busy. Most of the time I was on my computer and between the books. On Sunday I had a little break and we went for lunch to my parent's place. My brother and his family were visiting my parents also. It was good to see them all. We had a good chat about our vacation and all the things has happened since Christmas. Tomorrow I will go back to spinning class. I'm excited about that. Getting back to shape and feeling better. That is my goal!

Couple Cups

I'm in the middle of working on my Master's thesis, but I needed a little break. I found these old Arabia's coffee cups last Sunday on my flea market trip. Those coffee cups are my first ones. Both were in very good shape. I think I found a new treasure hunt target, Arabia's coffee cups. My mom collects Arabia's coffee cups, but she likes all of them blue and with a flowers. I guess I could start with any color and more simple prints. I love them.

Oh yeah, We watched the movie Black Swan yesterday and I don't know what to say. I usually have an opinion, but....Hmmmm...The actors are doing a great job in their roles. I think it's very artistic movie. I would say watch it and make your own opinion. It wasn't my favorite, but I've seen it and don't regret it.

Sleepless

My sleeping manners have gone upside down. In the mornings, it's really hard to wake up. At night times I can't get any sleep. My husband goes to bed way earlier than me. I have even tried to wake up earlier than I have to, but I'm still up late at night. I just don't feel like going to bed earlier to just spin around. It's irritating. I know, I should start doing sports again. My break has been way too long. A good exercise would help me to get better sleep.

I'm excited about this upcoming weekend. Me and mmy oldest friends from childhood are finally meeting up. This year we didn't have a chance to have our annual Christmas party, so we are having it on  this upcoming Saturday. It's so good to see them after a long time. There is no bigger plan how we are going to spend it, but at least we are all together. Possibly a great dinner and lots of girltalk.

Now I should start studying again. Exam is on Thursday. Where is the energy that I need now?

Sunday Morning

This morning I woke up with a smile. I love the fact that, even after almost nine years, my husband can still surprise me. Breakfast in bed! What a perfect way to start your morning.

Last night I dag up all the missed interior magazines at my parent's place. Black and White is still my favorite, but need to spice up our flat with some color. I haven't decided what that color could be, any ideas? It's time for spring! And time for tulips! Hopefully I have a chance to pick some tulips today or tomorrow.

Today I want and need to take some pictures for the blog. I also need to get back on track. There are so many blogs that I haven't have time to visit or make any comments. Hopefully today I have time for some blog browsing too. My exam books are hunting me also. There is still time before Thursday arrives. At least I hope so.

This box was found in a small town close to Panorama mountain, Canada. One of those things that you had to have. So I made some room for it in my suitcase. I don't know where to put it yet, but in time it will find it's place.

Beautiful Surprise

It's good to be at HOME again. I have to apologize for not being in the blog world for a while, but I guess we all need a little break sometimes. Our trip to Canada was great. So many pictures are waiting for editing. The everyday life was a slap on the face, because I went straight to my other teacher training. Still haven't totally got over my jetlag. My husband is doing better, but he also went straight to work. This weekend was much awaited. We have been busy by seeing all our friends. There is so much to talk about of what has happened in last 4 weeks. This morning we had to go flea market hopping. I found some treasures, but I will put picture of those later.

The picture of above was such amazing surprise. I got mail from Australia. In the envelope was a beautiful card with a beautiful note and this amazing necklace from SWEET Tamarah, SVJ blog. I was amazed. I want to thank you so much for this gift! It's just amazing how you can meet such a beautiful friends from the blog world. And I think I have written the word AMAZING quite a few time in this post.

Tonight we are going to visit our godson and also later on tonight, it's time for Saturday SAUNA. 4 weeks without sauna. I really need one =)

Old license plates

Hello Everyone!

It's been such a long time since I last updated my blog. Our trip has been amazing. We had a great vacation at the mountains in B.C, Canada. Hot springs in Radium were so beautiful and a wonderful experience. My husband and I had a chance to snowboard in Panorama. The view on the top of Panorama was amazing. We were in 2400 meters. Just wonderful.

I really wanted to do some fleamarket hopping here too, but most of them or all of them were closed in Calgary area, but I got really lucky during our road trip. There was a small town close to Panorama. We stopped by for some shopping and one of the stores had such amazing treasures, Old License Plates. I just had to buy some. They also had some vintage wooden boxes. Most of them were too big to bring over seas, but luckyly they had one smaller one. It was an old rootbeer box. I will take a picture of it later when we go back home. But here's some pictures from the store.

I also got some amazing news. Luck was really on my side this time. I won a lottery from a beautiful  weekdaycarnival blog.

Happy New Year 2011 !

I finally had a quick chance to update my blog again. We are still in Calgary, but heading out to Rockies today. I'm really excited! All my pictures are in the laptop so I had to pick pic from the net just to get an idea what does it look like here at the winter time. The temperature is pretty much the same here that it is in Finland. We have had some really nice sunny days. On the 29 th our friends got married. It was a beautiful ceremony with lots of tears and happyness. And the bride looked absolutely amazing. So I wish you all the best to your marriage, Joelene and Sal!!!

Happy New Year!!!! We had  fun at NYE. We had tickets to Aussie Rules, wich was a "pianowar" type of show. There were two pianists who played all the songs that you can imagine. They played together and against. It sure was a different NYE, but we had lots of fun. At midnight we had the countdown and wished all a Happy New Year!

So I wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR 2011!!!
